  1. 1.Think of a teenager, how would you picture them?
Young, casual clothes like jeans or tracksuit bottoms, hoody, t-shirt trainers. mainly for male, maybe wearing a cap.
2.Why do you picture them like this?
because of the media, and from my own viewing within shops, parks etc.
3.What forms of media have you seen this picture of a teenager in?
    Newspapers, Tele, internet.

4.What affect do you think this has on teenagers?
obviously negative, nothing in the news seems postive, people are afraid of what teenagers because of clothing because of their knowledge about bad situations within the news/
5.In television media which genres convey this, for example documentary, tv drama and news? Hoodies attacking shops, starting on innocent people in the street documentarys like brat camp also show negative side of teenagers, eastenders, holloaks etc

6.Do you think there is a difference between the representations in different genres?
nope not really, when they are shown normally doing something susupous or naughty the use of a hoody is always in frame, teenagers are never really seen as a positive thing, unless its female.. the representation of teenagers seem blek.
7.Are teenagers portrayed as positive or negative in the media?
    negative.

    7a.If positive, why?

    7b.If negative, why?
because of cultural society's, because of crime, because i guess the use of a hoodie is reflected so much on evil, the media show teenagers getting involved with gun crime, murder.etc
8.Why do media organizations represent teenagers like this, eg. Channel 4, the BBC...? because they are getting out of hand, they are taking ahold of their own life too easily, and its hard to get out of the typical conventions of teenagers, we are all stereotyped to be mischeifs and dangerous. its too show how out of hand, and how much times have changed between teenagers now from then.

9.What kind people are representing teenagers? elders.older people

10.Why are they representing teenagers like this?because it's basically true.

11.What did you think were the key representations of teenagers in the following, 'Hoodies can be Goodies' and 'We are the Lambeth Boy's'? the Lambeth boys seem harmless, you can tell they are just having a laugh and not using physical appearance or lanuage to seem threatening.

12.Give some examples that you thought were interesting in the video clips you watched from 'We are the Lambeth Boy's' and 'Hoodies can be Goodies'?
i think that hoodies can be goodies is aload of rubbish, i personally don't understand the reason to put a hoodie up during mid day, unless its freezing cold, but this could be because i feel personally threaten by the look of young boys in hoodies, the fact that your not able to fully view that person makes you feel their hidding something. the comparison is with Lambeth boys seem personally innocent, the hoodie can be goodies try to make it look a like a positive thing, when its too late as audiences have already been filled with bad views on teenagers with hoodies.
    13.Why do you think this?
they show a great comparsion between then and now and how much teenagers have changed. the media has influneced the view of "Hoodies equals baddies".
